Before February of 2012, DJs Lewis Anthony (Lewis Thompson) from the UK and Raico (Joey Raicovich) from the US threw down sets in some of Seoul’s most popular night clubs. As they watched electronic dance music veer off in a commercial direction, they decided to call time on the major club scene and go back to their roots to try and maintain the city’s underground house music scene. Both accomplished producers, the pair established their own monthly club night at one of Seoul’s most stripped back and intimate venues. Exit in Hongdae became home to the now flourishing Social Underground.

Born out of passion for the music and frustration at the lack of diversity in the South Korean capital, the night has gone from strength to strength and now boasts a packed house on the first Saturday of every month.

The duo shares a desire that makes underground house music accessible for everyone. There’s no luxurious VIP area, no outrageous drink prices, no dress code, and certainly no cover. Each month they invite local and international talent to showcase their skills and all have been extremely well received by the tune savvy crowd.

On March 2nd, we welcome Run. Catch. Kiss AKA Keith Stanigar. He is joined by Aaron Cho, Sam Gates, and SU Co-founder, Lewis Anthony. Things get underway from 11 pm.
