Head for world with Korean performing & art, MosaiKOREA 음악에는 국경이 없습니다

‘2014 the foreign Korean cultural center package program Tour’ was released by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism & Korea Arts management service which it introduces Korea’s culture & art to the world. The first event ‘MosaiKOREA’ was held at Shanghai in March which it introduces traditional Korea music with jazz and pop songs.

There was so many traditional Korea music performance in ‘MosaiKOREA’, for example, one of the worldwide intangible cultural heritage designated by UNESCO and the number one important intangible cultural heritage of Korea, ‘Royal ancestral rites music’, and Korean shamanism music of three region were edited for this concert which it presented fusion performance with jazz, pop, Korean traditional music.

Especially, many famous Korean musician participated in ‘MosaiKOREA’, geomungo(Korean musical instrument with six strings) master Huh Yoon Jung, bassist Seo Young Do etc. CultureM Magazine releases the photos of ‘MosaiKOREA’ photos by CultureM Magazine’s new contributor, Nah Seung Yull. he will be share his valuable photos about music, people, art, culture of Korea from April 2014.

대한민국의 문화예술을 해외에 소개하는 ‘2014 해외 한국문화원 패키지프로그램 순회’가 국악과 재즈,대중음악을 한 자리에서 선보인 ‘모자익코리아’로 첫 발을 내딛었다. 문화체육관광부와 (재)예술경영지원센터가 함께하는 이번 프로젝트는 국내 전문가가 엄선한 공연 및 전시 프로그램을 2014년 한 해 동안 아시아 및 유럽지역에 선보일 예정이다.

지난 3월에 중국 상해에서 개최된 ‘모자익코리아’는 유네스코가 선정한 세계무형유산 중 하나이자 우리나라 중요무형문화재 1호인 종묘제례악과 진도씻김굿, 동해안별신굿, 경기도당굿 등의 3도 무속악 등을 재편성해 국악, 재즈, 대중음악을 중심으로 한 다양한 악기들과의 협연을 선보였다.

거문고 명인 허윤정, 피리 연주자 곽재혁, 대금 연주자 이아람, 타악주자 강민수, 김태영 등의 기본기가 탄탄한 전통 국악 연주자들과 베이시스트 서영도, 피아니스트 민경인, 기타리스트 정수욱, 오정수, 색소포니스트 김지석, 신현필 등 국내를 대표하는 실력파 재즈 뮤지션들이 참여하여 한국 전통음악과 서양음악의 아름다운 조화를 만들어 낸 것. 또한 무용, 영상 등 다양한 시각적 요소와 현지 아티스트와의 협연을 통해 작품에 풍성함을 더했다. 현재 프로패셔널 포토그래퍼로 활동하며 음악을 포함한 다양한 예술 분야의 모습을 담아내고 있는 나승렬 작가가  ‘모자익코리아’에 참가한 뮤지션들의 모습을 보내왔다. 음악, 예술, 문화 등 한국 문화의 아름답고 다양한 모습을 담아내고 있는 나승열 작가의 작품을 매달에 컬쳐엠매거진에 소개할 예정이다.
