There is a deep blue sea, ‘Tongyeong’ 통영에는 깊고 푸른 바다가 있다

Tongyeong is a coastal city in South Gyeongsang Province, South Korea. Chungmu city and Tongyeong county were reunited in 1995, creating Tongyeong City as it is known today. There are so many magnificent spectacles and delicious food items in Tongyeong. For example, the first Submarine tunnel in Asia, Dala park, beautiful coastline road, Tongyeong international music festival, and Chungmu gimbab were attracting many tourists in 365 days.

And there are several famous food in Tongyeong, such as Chungmu gimbab, which it is a Korean sushi made of seaweed and rice. Also, Tongyeong is well-known for many famous Korean’s hometown such as Lee Sun Sin who was the greand general at 17C, and Yun Isang, a noted 20th century composer. And Park Kyung Ri was a really famous novelist, who wrote the most well-known novelist in Korea, ‘Toji’.

But beautiful coastlines, islands, and seas are the most memorable point in Tongyeong most of all. CultureM Magazine releases the beautiful photos of Tongyeong by contributor & photographer Lee Sang Yoon.

유인도 41개, 무인도 109개의 총 150개의 부속도서 이루어진 대한민국의 해상천국, 통영. 한려해상 국립공원으로 지정될 만큼 빼어난 경관을 자랑하는 통영은 달 마다, 계절 마다, 시간 마다 다양한 매력이 가득한 곳이다. 아시아 최초의 해저터널, 달아공원, 해변도로, 통영 국제 음악제, 충무김밥을 포함한 다양한 종류의 해산물 요리까지.

특히 그 통영을 대표하는 그 모든 매력 중에서 한려해상 국립공원으로 지정된 아름다운 해안선과 섬, 그리고 바다의 모습은 두 눈에 담아두기 아까울 만큼 수려한 경관을 자랑한다. 사진작가 이상윤이 담아낸 통영의 모습을 두 차례에 걸쳐 컬쳐엠매거진에서 공개한다.
