THE BASEMENT RESISTANCE & PALM OFF PRESENT, PALM OFF & ZIMMER

This first event of a long series comes as a result of this collaboration between Palm Off and TBR at aA DESIGN MUESUM LOUNGE in Hongdae. Coming for the first time in Korea, French producer and DJ Zimmer who, after a first EP released in 2011 on Discotexas, has kept rising in the current electronic scene, and is now considered as a major artist.

Palm Off 와 TBR의 첫 번째 콜라보레이션  이벤트가 11월 30일 홍대에서 그 화려한 선을 보인다. 특히 첫 내한하는 지머는 2011년 레이블 디스코텍사스를 통해 첫 EP를 발매하며 성장, 이제는 명실공히 “호라이즌탈 디스코”를 대표하는 프랑스 프로듀서이자 DJ 이다.  11월, 홍대를 뜨겁게 달굴 그들의 첫번째 이벤트를 공개한다.

Palm Off is an agency founded by Nicolas Masson & Jesse Sotomayor. Located in South Korea and France, Palm Off aims to promote the exchange between those two regions by creating unique events in Seoul with eminent artists from the Western electronic scene.

팜 오프는 니콜라스 마슨과 제스 소토마이어가 만나 탄생한 에이전시로 한국과 프랑스 두 지역에 활동하고 있다. 특히 서울을 기반으로 독창적인 이벤트를 기획, 일렉트로닉 음악 교류의 장을 마련하기 위해 노력하고 있다.

 

 

The Basement Resistance is an international creative crew made by the two members from band Glen Check and graphic artist Eyejin, while sharing a basement studio in Seoul. They work on all the outputs of Glen Check, and numerous projects like parties, visual arts etc.

더 베이스먼트 레지스탕스는 글렌체크의 두 멤버 김준원, 강혁준과 그래픽 아티스트 Eyejin이 함께 만든 크레이티브 크루이다. 그들은 글렌체크의 모든 작업물들 뿐만 아니라, 파티, 비쥬얼아트웍, 패션디자인, 음악 컨텐츠 등 수많은 작업들을 함께 하고 있다.

 

 

 

Zimmer’s “Horizontal Disco” combines tropical elements, feel good melodies and groovy basslines, making it the perfect sunny day soundtrack. He plays in low-ceiling clubs and fancy pool-parties, making sure the crowd always has a good time.

누디스코 프로듀서 지머가 내세우는 “호라이즌탈 디스코”는 트로피컬한 요소와 아름다운 멜로디, 그루브 넘치는 베이스라인으로 사랑 받고 있다. 그는 소규모의 클럽 및 풀 파티까지 다양한 장소에서 관객들과 소통하며 자신만의 음악 세계를 펼치고 있다.
