An evolving violinist who never stops trying, Kim Da Mi 아름다운 그녀, 김다미

Violinist Kim Da mi. She had her first solo concert after being chosen as a Kumho prodigy at the age of 14, and her first year in junior high school. Since then, she has walked the path of a violinist. After studying at Curtis Music School, then completing her bachelor’s, masters and player’s course, in 2010 she received international attention as she won second place without a first place winner at the Paganini International Violin Competition.

Then in 2011, she won the Nagoya Munetsugu Violin Competition including the special prize of Members of Orchestra.  She then went on to win Belgium’s Queen Elizabeth music competition and Germany’s Hannover International Violin competition. With excellent talent and spirit, Kim Da mi is growing up to be Korea’s top violinist. CultureM Magazine meets with big-eyed, beautiful Kim Da mi.

바이올리니스트 김다미. 그녀는 중학교 1학년이 되던 14살에 금호영재로 발탁되어 첫 독주회를 열었다. 그때부터 그녀는 바이올리니스트로의 본격적인 삶을 걷게 된다. 미국 커티스음악원, 보스턴 뉴잉글랜드 콘서바토리 학사, 석사, 연주자과정 등을 거쳐 2010년 파가니니 국제 콩쿠르에서 1위 없는 2위에 입상하며 국제적인 주목을 받기 시작한다.

그리고 2011년에는 일본 나고야 무네츠구 국제콩쿠르에서는 우승과 특별상을, 2012년 벨기에 퀸 엘리자베스 콩쿠르와 세계 최고 권위의 독일 하노버 국제 바이올린콩쿠르에서 우승했다. 탁월한 연주 실력과 근성을 바탕으로 대한민국을 대표하는 바이올리니스트로 성장하고 있는 바이올리니스트 김다미. 커다란 눈망울의 아름다운 그녀를 컬쳐엠매거진이 만났다.
