Cultural heritage of Korea, the Sung Family traditional house 창녕 석리성씨고택을 가다

The Sung Family traditional located GyeongSang Namdo ChangNyeong. It consists of 6 building with main building, middle detached house, big detached house and original detached house, bathhouse.

The reason why Sung Family traditional house is so special in the Korea history, it shows very well the formality of Korea modern traditional house. Especially, main building and original detached house of the Sung Family traditional house were built in 1929 or before the year, we can see the distinct features of Korea modern traditional house formality. For example, organization of space as a typical etc. the Sung Family traditional house was designated as a GyeongSang Namdo cultural properties reference in 2004.

2004년 7월, 경상남도 문화재자료 제355호로 지정된 창녕 석리성씨고택은 1929년에 지어졌거나 이전되어 온 고택이다. 경상남도 창녕군 대지면 석리에 위치한 이 고택은 안채, 사랑채, 곳간 2동, 대문채, 화장실 등 건물 6채가 있다. 안채의 앞쪽으로 사랑채와 중문채가 있고 안마당 양 옆에는 곳간 2동이 있다. 현재 석리성씨고택은 국내외 관광객들이 자주 찾는 관광명소로 각광받고 있으며 공간 구성 또는 가구 기법 등의 근대 한옥의 특징이 그대로 남아있어 학술적인 가치로도 높게 평가 받고 있다. 컬쳐엠매거진의 컨트리뷰터인 이상윤 포토그래퍼님이 담아낸 석리성씨고택의 고즈넉한 모습을 2회에 걸쳐 공개한다.
