Morikawa Natsuki releases the fourth album, ‘4EVER’ 모리카와 나츠키, 5년만의 귀환

A Japanese jazz singer, Morikawa Natsuki is back with the fourth regular album, ‘4EVER’. She was debut with the first album, ‘& Jazz’ in 2008. And she was awarded ‘ADLIB award 2008, Japan new star’ as a jazz singer by music magazine ‘ADLIB’. Finally she releases the fourth album, ‘4EVER’ after the second album, ‘P-Rhythm’ third album ‘PRIMAVERA’.
In this album, Morikawa Natsuki sings a songs with deep and blue feeling with a real jazz soul. And she co-works with instrumental rock band, ‘Sensation’ which it claims to bluezy tempo group. She remakes world famous jazz songs as a unique soul of herself. For example, the song ‘Smile’, The Platters – Only You, ‘My Favorite Things’, ‘Don’t Know Why’, ‘Bei Mir Bist Du Schon’ of ‘The Andrew Sisters’ etc.

일본의 재즈가수 모리카와 나츠키가 5년만에 돌아왔다. 첫 정규 앨범 ‘& Jazz’로 음악지 ‘ADLIB’ 선정 ‘ADLIB 어워드 2008 : 국내 뉴 스타 상’을 수상,  두 번째 앨범 ‘P-Rhythm’과 세 번째 앨범 ‘PRIMAVERA’ 발매 이후 5년만에 네번째 앨범 ‘4EVER’를 발표했다.
이번 앨범에서는 Instrumental 락 밴드 ‘센세이션’의 블루지한 미들 템포 리듬에 맞춰 맛을 더한 편안한 음색이 소녀에서 여인으로의 성장을 꾀하듯 한층 더 자연스럽고 풍성해졌다. 익숙한 팝 넘버들을 모리카와 나츠키만의 느낌으로 재해석 해내는 능력은 변함없었다. 지난 5년 간의 기다림이 헛되지 않을 만큼 퍼져 나오는 농익은 감성과 성숙한 여인의 향기에 한껏 취해볼 만 하다. ‘Smile’, The Platters – Only You, ‘My Favorite Things’, ‘Don’t Know Why’, ‘The Andrew Sisters’의 ‘Bei Mir Bist Du Schon’ 등 익숙한 팝 넘버들을 모리카와 나츠키만의 느낌으로 재해석했다.
