Spring brings back the power of light. Light, the relationship of the sun to the earth, is what the seasons are all about. Light has the effect of awakening both the Earth and people. The seasons affect us and we go through a major shift with the change of seasons. We are introspective in winter, energy goes inside. In the Spring, we experience a rebirth-physically, spiritually, emotionally-we gain new life. It is also a time of hope and renewal.

The celebratory images here were taken at the Hongneung Arboretum, a well laid out park of various sections showing everything from Deciduous trees to herbs. It’s the perfect place for naturists, botanists or just a stroll around. It has beautiful scenery for every season. A 10-15 minute walk from Hoegi station, a highly recommended spot for beautiful flowers and some education on wildlife. The park is open on Saturday and Sundays to the public.
