Eddy Kim has released the complete version of his debut album, called “The Manual” Deluxe Edition. It includes an additional track from the original “The Manual” album, called ‘Darling’. In ‘Darling’ Eddy Kim sings about how the hot weather can’t hold him back from wanting to be with his lady. Eddy Kim’s unique ‘romantic feels’ mixed with the song’s unique structure make the song stand out.
‘Darling’ starts off with simple guitar sounds, and then followed by Eddy Kim’s voice, drums, contrabass, and the chorus. The song becomes fancier and deeper as it goes. Eddy Kim’s cute complaint about the heat on top of a breezy rhythm makes this song quite charming for the season. It is truly another sweet serenade for the summer.

데뷔 앨범의 완성판인 “너 사용법” 디럭스 에디션을 발표했다. 기존 미니 앨범 “너 사용법”에서 한 곡이 추가된 형태로 타이틀곡은 ‘Darling’이다. 더워서 자꾸 늘어지고만 싶은 여름, 옆에 있는 연인이 너무 사랑스러워 가만두고 볼 수 없다는 내용의 ‘Darling’은 에디킴만의 로맨틱한 감성과 재치 있는 구성이 잘 어우러진 곡이다
간결한 기타 반주와 에디킴의 깊이 있는 목소리를 기본으로 드럼과 콘트라베이스, 마지막으로 코러스가 더해지면서 점차 화려해지는 편성의 곡으로 날씨가 이렇게 더운 이유가 다 ‘너 때문이야‘라고 투정부리는 에디킴의 목소리와 여름밤 공기처럼 살랑살랑한 리듬이 특히 매력적이다.
