A rookie Korean girl group, Red Velvet has released the first mini album “Ice Cream Cake”. Before, they debuted with the first single album “Happiness” as the most anticipated girl group. As we expected, they showed gorgeous performance & voice as the rookie girl group of SM entertainment. Also, they are returned as a 5 member girl group with Irin, Wendy, Joy, Seulgi, included Yeri.

There are 6 tracks in this album included double title track “Ice Cream Cake” & “Automatic”. The first title track “Ice Cream Cake” is an electronic pop song with a mysterious music box sound about girl’s story whose falling love. The second title track “Automatic” is an urban genre song with a groovy drum beat & soft melody. Also, there are origin R&B, modern R&B pop dance tracks such as “Somethin Kinda Crazy”, “Stupid Cupid”, “Take It Slow”, “Candy”.

걸 그룹 Red Velvet이 첫 번째 미니 앨범 “Ice Cream Cake”을 발매했다. 2014년 여름, 싱글 앨범 “행복”으로 데뷔한 SM의 신인 걸 그룹 Red Velvet이 기존 멤버인 슬기, 아이린, 웬디, 조이에 새로운 멤버 예리가 합류해 5인조로 돌아온 것이다. 소녀다운 매력과 매혹적인 아름다움을 담아낸 더블 타이틀 곡 “Ice Cream Cake”와 “Automatic”을 비롯해 이번 앨범에는 총 6곡이 수록 되었다.

타이틀 트랙 “Ice Cream Cake”는 신비로운 뮤직박스 사운드가 인상적인 일렉트로닉 팝 곡으로, 사랑에 빠진 소녀의 설렘 가득한 감정을 담아냈다. 또한 더블 타이틀 트랙 “Automatic”은 그루비한 드럼 비트 위에 부드러운 선율이 인상적인 Urban 장르의 곡으로, Red Velvet의 성숙한 매력을 담아냈다. 또한 “Somethin Kinda Crazy”, “Stupid Cupid”, “Take It Slow”, “Candy”까지 정통 R&B와 모던 R&B 팝, 댄스 곡 등의 다양한 장르를 아우르는 트랙이 수록되었다.
