Ko Samui is an island off the east coast of the Kra Isthmus, Thailand. Also, Ko Samui is Thailand’s second-largest island after Phuket. Abundant tourist resources, sandy beaches, coral reefs, and coconut trees are present on the island. Especially, there are so many beautiful beaches included Chaweng Beach.
In fact, Chaweng Beach is the most loved tour place by many tourists. As the biggest beach on Ko Samui, there are so many beautiful coconut trees along the beach. Also, there are Chaweng Beach road in the inside, it gives some wonderful exotic nuance to the tourists. 태국에서 두 번째로 큰 섬인 코사무이는 최근 아시아에서 가장 핫한 휴양지로 각광받는 곳이다. 차웽 해변을 중심으로 아름다운 해변들이 섬 곳곳에 펼쳐져 있으며 리조트, 호텔, 레스토랑이 모여있는 아시아의 대표적인 리조트 지역이다.
특히 코사무이에서 가장 크고 번화한 차웽 해변은 길게 이어진 모래밭과 얕은 수심 때문에 전 세계 모든 관광객이 즐겨 찾는 곳이다. 해변을 따라 코코넛 야자수들이 늘어서 있어 이국적인 정취가 가득하며 내륙으로 100m쯤 들어가면 차웽 비치로드가 있으며 북쪽 끝에는 잔잔한 석호를 만날 수 있다. 컬쳐엠매거진이 태국 코사무이 섬을 대표하는 차웽 거리와 해변의 모습을 컨트리뷰터 이수호의 사진으로 공개한다.
