Here is an exhilarating thing. Sometimes, this can make us recover our confidence and express feelings hidden in the deep side. Do you know what it is? right. that’s alcohol.

I’d like to introduce a book telling about alcohol and life. Isn’t it interesting at the thought of life with alcohol? this book was initially published serially on the internet, web toon. More interestingly, there are introductions on the book cover. “of the drinker, by the drinker, for the drinker, a real daily cartoon.” How about getting down with the fun of this book?

Three single women are main characters. they are all professionals in their work and also love to drink alcohol together. we can say that, “Work hard and Drink hard.” while reading this book, you may sympathize with them realistically. In addition, tempted by the images drawn about drinking and making a toast, you would bring some snacks and beer in your fridge. Especially, the last chapter in this book consists of recommendation for appetizers with real pictures. I’m sure that you can’t help calling your friends and drinking like three characters do.

You know that when someone tell you “How about a drink?”, you feel more warmer than any words. – In Korea, this makes sense. Of course, too much drinking harms your health or makes some trouble in your life. However, It’s undeniable happiness that you meet someone who is like­minded with you and share your feelings. You could take your mind off the stress spending the time drinking and talking with friends.

Are you tired of working or routine? this cartoon let you forget getting stress in your day. Just throw off your worries with real beer as well as book telling alcohol life. It will be enough to feel good.

유쾌한 단어 하나를 던져 보려고 한다. 가끔은 이유모를 자신감을 만들어주기도 하고, 또 가끔은 저 깊은 곳 어딘가 소심하게 꿈틀거리던 은둔의 감정을 격정적으로 끌어올려 주기도 하는 그 것. 바로 술 이다.

여기 그런 술에 얽힌 우리의 삶을 얼큰하게 그려놓은 책 한권이 있다. 책 표지에는 “술꾼의, 술꾼에 의한, 술꾼을 위한, 본격 음주 일상툰” 이라는 마치 운율이 잘 짜인 고전시(時)마냥, 입에 착착 감기는 소개 글이 눈길을 끈다.

이 책은 프로페셔널한 노쳐녀 삼인방의 일, 사랑, 우정 등 술과 함께해서 더욱 흥미진진한  일상을 담고 있다. 게다가 지나치게 사실적인 보통의 일상을 다루고 있어 어떤 페이지에서는 괜히 주위를 둘러보다, 침대에서 하이킥을 날려버리고 싶기도 하고, 단지 술을 나누는 그림일 뿐인데 나도 모르게 빠져들어 ‘캬’, 하는 감탄사를 연발한다던가 잠시 책을 덮고 냉장고 문을 열어 마른 반찬과 소주병을 챙겨 오는 자신을 발견할 수 도 있을 것이다. 특히 책의 마지막 챕터는 고민이 필요 없는 30일 추천 안주로 침샘 넘치는 안주들의 실사와 설명으로 구성되어있다. 이 책은 그야말로 우리 심장에 ‘건배’의 열정을 치솟게 하는 유쾌한 유혹인 셈이다.

때로는 “술 한잔 하자” 라는 말이 “밥 한번 먹자”라는 말보다 우리의 가슴을 뜨끈하게 데워준다. 물론 지나친 음주는 건강에 해롭고, 종종 사고를 불러일으키기도 하지만 요즘 같이 각박한 세상에서, 마음 맞는 사람들과 모여 앉아 술 한 잔 기울이며 전하고 싶었던 고백, 나누고 싶었던 마음을 꺼내 보이며 정신없이 돌아가는 인생살이를 잠시 멈추어보는 것, 그것이 얼마나 큰 행복이고 즐거움인가.

늦은 밤, 고된 심신을 달래줄 무엇이 필요하다면 이 책을 적극 추천한다. 시원한 맥주 한잔과 세상에서 가장 편안한 자세를 취할 공간이면 충분하다. 머리부터 발끝까지 기분 좋게 취해 “별거 아닌 일, 잊고 다시 힘내자”를 외치게 될 것이다.
