QE DOCUMENTS 1 : RED 나의 기록 1 : 붉은색

Making clothes, painting the people who met me. I sudden realize that these works means some kind of my history. So, I decided to leave behind my history on my clothes or upcoming works. Let me introduces you my first work’s ‘TOP’ used by the fitting clothes.

For reference, I am overcoming towards the color ‘RED’ in recent. So, I focused on the color ‘RED’ for my first work. Which is too beautiful color but not for me. The red blood which it covered my red manicured hand. And His favorite beverage, ‘Bodoit Red’. Frankly, red is too gorgeous, it is too difficult color for take it all.

옷을 만드는 것, 나와 만난 사람들을 그리는 것. 이러한 작업들은 나 자신의 기록이라는 생각이 들었다. 그래서 내가 만드는 옷들이나 앞으로의 작업들에는 나의 기록을 새겨 넣기로 했다. 그 첫 번째 작업으로 얼마 전에 가봉한 옷을 토대로 만든 탑을 소개하고자 한다.

참고로, 최근에 빨간색 공포증을 극복하는 과정을 겪고 있기 때문에 ‘RED’라는 단어에 초점을 맞춰 작업을 진행했다. 너무 아름다워서 입어봤지만 나와는 그다지 어울리지 않는 색. 새빨간 매니큐어를 바른 손을 온통 덮어버렸던 그 붉은 피. 그리고 ‘그’가 즐겨 마셨던 음료인 ‘바두아 레드’까지. 빨간색은 온통 매력적이지만 절대로 쉬운 색은 아니다.
