M.A.P6’s 1st single album ‘STORM’ 맵식스의 첫 싱글 앨범

A rookie Korean boy group, M.A.P6 has released the first single album ‘STORM’. M.A.P6 is the first five-member boy group(Min Hyuk, J.JUN, SIGN, J.VIN, SUN) from Dreamt Entertainment, an agency that found and signed the star girl group Girl’s Day. The group name M.A.P.6 comes from M:arch, A:round, the P:lanet and the numbers stand for 5 (members) + 1 (fans) = 6. Like the name suggests, the five members wish to become a group that can tour around the world’s continents with the love and support from the fans. There are 3 tracks in the album included a title track ‘STORM’. It is a sensual & powerful PB hip-hop song with a vivid dance performance, rap and trendy melodies. Especially, a famous Korean producing team ‘am 03:00’ worked for the track who already worded with Lim Chang Jung, SG WANNBE etc.

신인 그룹, M.A.P6가 첫 싱글 앨범 ‘STORM’을 발표했다. 민혁, 제이준, 싸인, 썬, 제이빈으로 구성된 M.A.P6는 대한민국 대표 걸 그룹으로 성장한 드림티엔터테인먼트에서 선보이는 첫 남성 5인조 아이돌 그룹으로 M:arch(행진하다), A:round(둘레), the P:lanet(지구, 행성)의 영문 약자를 합쳐 ‘세계를 행진한다’는 의미에 5(멤버)+1(팬)=6의 의미를 더해 만들어진 그룹이다. 총 세 곡이 수록된 데뷔 싱글 앨범의 타이틀 곡 ‘Storm’ 강렬하면서도 서정성이 극대화 된 새로운 타입의 PB 힙합 곡으로 댄스 퍼포먼스의 강렬한 힘과 랩, 그리고 멜로디가 인상적이다. 특히 임창정, SG워너비 등과 함께 작업한 작곡팀 ‘새벽3시’가 작업에 참여해 곡의 완성도를 더 했다.
