‘Beasts And Natives Alike (BANA)’ officially unveiled remixes of f(x)’s latest regular album title track ‘4 Walls’ produced by ‘250’ and ‘FRNK’. This particularly and uniquely reinterpreted remix of f(x)’s “4 Walls” was produced by artists 250 and FRNK of XXX, proven to be an experimental collaboration between BANA and S.M. Entertainment artist f(x). ‘250’ and ‘FRNK’, artists behind the music of ‘[4 Walls AN EXHIBIT] and the official remix project, are accomplished producers signed to BANA. They’ve established themselves as evolving trendsetters of today’s music industry with their daringly experimental and unique work.

The joint collaboration between f(x) and BANA started a few days prior to the official release of f(x)’s comeback, through an unprecedented promotional exhibition. ‘4 EXHIBIT’, the name of this special exhibition started its showcase last October 21st and went on for 7 days at a gallery situated in Gyungridan Road, Itaewon. ‘4 WALLS AN EXHIBIT’, organized and coordinated by BANA and SM Visual & Art Department, was a combined exposure of dimensional projections of f(x) members shot towards 4 different walls and background music produced by 250 and FRNK. ‘비스츠앤네이티브스(이하 BANA)’의 프로듀서 ‘250’과 ‘FRNK’가 리믹스한 f(x) 정규 4집 타이틀곡 ‘4 Walls’ 의 공식 리믹스가 공개되었다. 이번 리믹스는 기존의 흐름에서 벗어난 과감한 문화적 시도로 주목 받아온 BANA와 SM엔터테인먼트 소속 그룹 f(x)의 실험적인 협업의 일환으로 BANA 소속 아티스트인 ‘250’과 XXX의 ‘FRNK’가 에프엑스의 새 앨범 타이틀곡 ‘4 Walls’를 색다르게 재해석했다. ‘250’과 ‘FRNK’는 E SENS가 소속된 BANA의 프로듀서들이며, 장르의 경계를 넘어서 실험적이고 독창적인 작업물들을 발표해 온 실력있는 아티스트들이다.

이번 에프엑스와 BANA의 협업은 지난 10월 21일부터 7일간 이태원동 경리단길에 위치한 갤러리에서 진행된 전시회, ’4 WALLS AN EXHIBIT’를 시작으로 6일, ‘4 Walls’ 리믹스를 공개하면서 마무리되었다. BANA와 SM 비주얼&아트실의 협업을 통해 완성되었던 전시회, ’4 WALLS AN EXHIBIT’는 4개의 벽면에 프로젝터를 활용해 멤버별 영상을 공개하는 감각적인 전시였다. ‘250’과 XXX의 ‘FRNK’는 이 전시회의 BGM을 맡기도 했으며, 새로 공개될 리믹스까지 이번 협업의 음악 전체를 담당했다. 이번 f(x) X BANA 공식 리믹스는 BANA 공식 웹사이트(http://beastsandnatives.com)를 통해서 무료로 들을 수 있다.
