The Graben is one of the most famous streets in Vienna’s first district, the city centre. It begins at Stock-im-Eisen-Platz next to the Palais Equitable and ends at the junction of Kohlmarkt and Tuchlauben. Another street in the first district is called Tiefer Graben. It is crossed by Wipplinger Straße by means of the Hohe Brucke, a bridge about ten metres above street level.

그라벤 거리는 오스트리아 비엔나 1구역의 가장 유명한 명소이자 도시의 중심으로 1년 365일 많은 관광객들이 찾는 곳이다. 각종 상점과 레스토랑, 거리의 예술가들이 밀집해 있는 곳으로 유럽의 전형적인 모습을 느낄 수 있는 건축물과 현대의 건축물을 동시에 느낄 수 있다.

St. Stephen’s Cathedral
St. Stephen’s Cathedral(more commonly known by its German title Stephansdom) is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vienna and the seat of the Archbishop of Vienna, Christoph Cardinal Schonborn, OP. The current Romanesque and Gothic form of the cathedral, seen today in the Stephansplatz, was largely initiated by Duke Rudolf IV(1339–1365) and stands on the ruins of two earlier churches, the first a parish church consecrated in 1147.

The most important religious building in Vienna, St. Stephen’s Cathedral has borne witness to many important events in Habsburg and Austrian history and has, with its multi-coloured tile roof, become one of the city’s most recognizable symbols.  The funeral of the Italian composer, Antonio Vivaldi occurred in this cathedral in 1741. The cemetery is next to St. Charles Church.

슈테판 대성당은 오스트리아 빈에 있는 로마 가톨릭교회의 성당으로 빈 대교구의 주교좌 성당이다. 오늘날 빈의 심장부인 슈테판 광장에 자리 잡고 있는 로마네스크 및 고딕 양식의 대성당은 루돌프 4세가 주도하여 지어진 것으로, 대성당이 있기 전에 있었던 두 채의 옛 성당 유적지에 세워진 것이다.
이 두 개의 옛 성당 가운데 먼저 지어진 성당은 1147년에 축성된 본당이었다. 오스트리아의 수도에 있는 가장 대표적인 종교 건물인 슈테판 대성당은 오스트리아의 역사에서 중요한 사건마다 산 증인의 역할을 해왔으며, 다양한 색상으로 꾸며진 지붕 타일 덕분에 빈을 상징하는 랜드마크가 되었다.

Schonbrunn Palace
Schonbrunn Palace is a former imperial 1,441-room Rococo summer residence in modern Vienna, Austria. One of the most important cultural monuments in the country, since the 1960s it has been one of the major tourist attractions in Vienna. The palace and gardens illustrate the tastes, interests, and aspirations of successive Habsburg monarchs.

쇤브룬 궁전은 과거 오스트리아 제국의 로코코 형식 여름 별궁으로 1,441개의 방으로 이루어졌다. 오스트리아에서 가장 큰 궁전이자 방문객이 가장 많은 곳 중 하나이며, 문화적으로도 가장 뜻 깊은 곳 중 하나이다. 쇤브룬 궁전의 정원은 한 시절 유럽을 호령했던 합스부르크 왕가의 품격과 취향을 고스란히 보여주고 있다. 50만평에 이르는 그 대지와 궁궐은 1996년 유네스코 세계 문화 유산으로 선정 되었으며 쇤브룬 공원 안에 있는 빈 동물원은 세계에서 가장 오래된 동물원이다.
