The representative jazz music festival of Korea, Jarasum International Jazz Festival. The 11th Jarasum International Jazz Festival 2014 took place from the 3 to 5 October, jarasum, gapyeong of Korea. 대한민국 최고의 재즈 페스티벌, 자라섬국제재즈페스벌이 역대의 최강의 라인업을 바탕으로 지난 10월 3일부터 5일까지 나흘 동안 가평의 위치한 자라섬에서 개최되었다. 세계적인 색소포니트스이자 보컬리스트인 마세오 파커를 비롯해 12차례에 걸쳐 그래미 어워드를 수상하고 클라리넷도 동시에 연주하는 파키토 드리베라는 이번 페스티벌 최고의 무대로 평가받았다.
또한 팝 역사상 가장 아름다운 선율을 만들어 내는 기타리스트, 도미닉 밀러, 앨런 홀스워스, 게리 허스밴드, 지미 하슬립, 노르웨이 출신의 기타리스트 테르예립달 등 30개국의 정상급 연주자 51개 팀이 자라섬국제재즈페스티발에 참여했다. 컬쳐엠매거진이 작가 나승렬이 담아낸 제 11회 자라섬국제재즈페스티벌의 뜨거웠던 현장을 공개한다.
