ZICO’s 1st mini album ‘GALLERY’ 창조적인 아이돌, 지코

Beyond a normal idol, ZICO has released the first mini album ‘GALLERY’. As the leader of a Korean idol group BLCOK B, he was showing his musical talented on various parts such as dance, rock, hip-hop, ballad, producing, writing etc. Also, he is performing as the hip-hop artist with several famous Korean hip-hop artists. Especially, he worked for the album more than a producer for artwork, visual directing, movie arranging.

There are 6 tracks in the album included double title tracks. The first title track ‘Eureka’ is a powerful rap song of ZICO with an unique voice of a Korean rapper Zion.T. Also, the second title track ‘Pride and Prejudice’ is deep & rich melodies hip-hop song with a well-talented Korean female vocalist SURAN.

아이돌을 넘어 독보적인 아티스트로 성장하고 있는 지코가 첫 번째 미니 앨범 ‘갤러리’를 발표했다. 그룹 ‘블락비’의 리더이자 래퍼로 활발한 활동을 하고 있는 지코가 마침내 온전히 솔로 뮤지션으로 돌아온 것이다. 특히 지코는 이번 앨범에서 프로듀서의 역량을 넘어 아트웍, 비주얼디렉팅, 뮤비 어레인지등 모든 과정에 참여하며 크리에이티브 디렉터 ‘지코’의 면모를 충분히 발휘했다.

더블 타이특 곡 ‘유레카’와 ‘오만과 편견’을 비롯해 총 6곡이 수록된 이번 앨범의 첫 번째 타이틀곡 트랙 ‘유레카(Feat. Zion.T)’는 자이언티의 특별한 보이스와 지코의 파워풀한 랩핑을 한꺼번에 감상할 수 있는 곡이다. 또한 두 번째 타이틀 곡 ‘오만과 편견(Feat. 수란)’은 끈적한 멜로디 라인이 무척 인상적으로 다가오며 요즘 씬에서 가장 핫하다는 보컬 ‘수란’ 이 참여했다.
