HyunA’s 5th mini album ‘A’wesome’ 여름에는 현아

HyunA has released the 5th mini album, ‘A’wesome’. In fact, it is the first solo album after breaking up her past girl group ‘4 Minutes’ and it is her fifth mini album in 1 year. As a real solo singer, she embodies her unique sexy concept, powerful dance tracks & sentimental ballad tracks in the album. Moreover, she joined the album for writing the lyrics, select the tracks for being a real musician.

There are 6 tracks in the album including a title track ‘How’s this?’. It is a danceable hip-hop track with rhythmical saxophone reefs, 808 base sound trap beats and HyunA’s sexy voice color. Also it is impressive that poisonous refrain with the lyrics ‘How’s this?’. Especially, one of the best Korean music video director, Zanybros’s Hong Won Ki directed ‘How’s this?’ MV and he made it be HyunA’s style by sensuous image editing.

현아가 다섯 번째 미니 앨범 ‘A’wesome’을 발표했다. 지난 2015년 8월, 네 번째 미니앨범 ‘A+’ 이후 1년 만에 발표한 앨범이자, 포미닛 해체 후 첫 솔로 앨범인 이번 미니앨범 ‘A’wesome’은 현아만의 섹시하면도 파워풀한 댄스곡뿐만 아니라 감성적이면서도 성숙한 느낌의 곡까지 다양하고 색다른 매력이 담겨있다. 또한, 이번에 현아가 직접 앨범 수록 곡을 선곡, 작사에 참여하는 등 전반적인 작업에 열정과 정성을 쏟아 부은 앨범이다.

현아의 미니 5집 앨범 타이틀 곡 ‘어때?’는 신나는 색소폰 리프와 808 베이스 사운드가 돋보이는 트랩 비트와 섹시한 현아의 보컬이 어우러지는 댄서블한 힙합 트랙으로, 시작부터 끝까지 현아의 아이덴티티를 한껏 느낄 수 있는 곡이다. 당당하고 귀엽게 ‘어때?’라고 묻는 쉽고 중독성 강한 후렴구가 인상적이다. 쟈니브로스의 홍원기 감독이 연출을 맡은 이번 뮤직비디오 또한, 현아만의 독보적인 카리스마와 섹시함으로 눈을 뗄 수 없게 만든다.
