An actor who is studying the life, Michael Lee. In fact, he was a medical student in the University. But he likes sing a song like a habit, he chose a life of actor. His beginning was so simple. But who told like that most successful people beginning is perfectly same? Michael Lee don’t ever need money, glory, success as an actor. He wants to act on the stage with the peoples who loves theatre.

His first musical in Korea was the role ‘Thuy’ of ‘Miss saigon’. After ‘Miss saigon’, he had played various roles in several musical. Recently, he plays the musical ‘Sopyeonje’ as a role, ‘Dongho’. CultureM Magazine has an interview with an actor who is studying the life, Michael Lee.

의대생이었던 마이클 리는 의사라는 안정된  미래를 포기하고 뮤지컬 배우의 길을 선택한다. 피아노와 바이올린 등 음악과 함께 보낸 유년 시절이 그리워서도, 의사라는 미래의 직업이 두려워서도 아니었다. 순전히 마이클 리는 음악을 좋아했고, 노래 할 때 가장 행복했다. 그렇게 이유는 단순했다. 뮤지컬 ‘미스 사이공’으로 국내 팬들에게 처음으로 얼굴을 알린 마이클 리는 폭발하는 가창력과 순진한 반전 매력으로 이제는 굉장히 두터운 팬덤을 자랑하는 한국 뮤지컬계의 스타로 자리 잡았다. 최근 뮤지컬 ‘서편제’를 통해 한층 인정받는 배우로 진화하고 있는 마이클 리를 컬쳐엠매거진이 만났다.
