VIXX’s 2nd regular album ‘Chained Up’ 빅스의 두 번째 정규 앨범

A Korean boy group, VIXX has released the second regular album ‘Chained Up’. In fact, they released the remake album ‘Farewell Formula’ of 90’s K-pop star, R.ef, the first unit album ‘VIXX LR’ with VIXX’s members, LEO & RAVI. And, they comeback with more gorgeous concept album in 8 months. There are 12 tracks in the album included a title track ‘Chained Up’. It is a new concept vivid dance track with a powerful beat, melody lines. It was composed by Albi Albertsson who already worked with VIXX. Also, the world famous choreographer ‘Ian Eastwood’ and MV director Kuim Sung Wook joined in MV working. Moreover, there are several different tracks in the album ‘MAZE’, ‘Stop It Girl’, ‘Hot Enough’, ‘Spider’, ‘Heaven’

데뷔 4년 차, 6인조 그룹 빅스가 정규 2집 앨범 ‘Chained Up’을 발표했다. 지난 2월 R.ef의 90년대 명곡 ‘이별공식’을 리메이크하여, 국내 전 음악방송에서 1위 트로피를 거머쥐는 등 대중의 큰 사랑을 받았고, 여름에는 멤버인 레오와 라비가 빅스 내 첫 유닛 ‘빅스LR’을 결성, 본인들이 직접 프로듀싱한 앨범을 발표하는 등 활발한 활동을 펼쳐온 빅스가 8개월 만에 돌아온 것이다.

총 12곡이 수록된 이번 앨범의 타이틀 곡인 ‘사슬(Chained Up)’은 ‘다칠 준비가 돼 있어’ 이후 오랜만에 작업하게 된 Albi Albertsson’의 곡으로 빅스가 기존에 시도해보지 않았던 새로운 장르의 비트와 멜로디 라인으로 이루어져 있다. 또한 유명 해외 안무가 ‘이안 이스트우드’와 독특하고 세련된 영상미를 선보여 온 김성욱 감독은 타이틀 곡의 완성도를 더 했다. 추가로 이번 앨범에는 발라드, R&B등 다양한 장르를 넘나드는 ‘MAZE’, ‘Stop It Girl’, ‘Hot Enough’, ‘Spider’, ‘Heaven’ 등의 곡들이 추가로 앨범에 담겼다.
