A veteran Korean boy group, god has released the first single album ‘god’ in 1 year 4 months. As the long life boy group of Korea, they are still capturing the publics & critics with their natural voice & well-balanced harmony since 1999. Especially, the no.1 hit song maker of Korea, Double Side Kick producing team & Black Tie Music worked for god’s new 2 tracks of this single album.

The first title track ‘A Funny But Sad Day’ is a sensual ballad track with slow tempo, swing groove, simple drum beat and, sentimental Nylon Guitar. It is impressive that string performing & retro melotron instrument’s sound makes it more perfectly. The second title track ‘What do you have to do’ is a slow ballad track with slow beat & unique arrangement. Also, one of the talented producers, Double Side Kick’s Long candy & Black Tie co-worked for the track.

god가 1년 4개월 만에 다섯 멤버 모두 모여 첫 싱글 앨범을 발표했다. 앨범에 수록된 더블 타이틀 곡 ‘웃픈 하루’, ‘네가 할 일’ 까지 히트곡 메이커 이단옆차기 사단과 검은띠뮤직이 참여하여 god만의 감성을 완성한 것이다.

첫 번째 타이틀 곡 ‘웃픈 하루’는 슬로우 템포에 스윙그루브가 가미된 리듬에 얹어진 간결한 드럼비트와 서정적인 Nylon Guitar가 더해진 발라드 곡으로 절제된 스트링 연주와 레트로한 멜로트론 악기 소리로 곡의 완성도를 더 했다. 또한 두 번째 타이틀 곡 ‘네가 할 일’은 슬로우 비트 위로 스타카토 연주를 얹은 유니크한 스타일의 편곡이 인상적인 발라드 곡으로 가요계 중심 프로듀서 이단옆차기 사단의 롱캔디와 지아 <가끔> 노을 <살기 위해서> 허각, 더원, 나비, 울랄라세션 등 수 많은 히트곡을 탄생시킨 히트메이커 검은띠가 함께 작업했다.
