KONTRABASS ENSEMBLE of Seoul Philharmonic orchestra the guest of 80th ArtM Concert at uJung Art Center. ArtM Concert is a non-profit music Concert sponsored by Hyundai Pharm since 2009 which it is the limelight of mass communication as an authoritative classical concert. Also, ArtM Concert was named ‘Art is Tree’ by Ministry of Culture, Spots and Tourism, Korea in March 2015.

80th ArtM Concert’s main guests, KONTRABASS ENSEMBLE is already well-known five contrabassists in K-classic. Especially, a vice senior of Seoul Philharmonic orchestra, Lee Young Soo is well known for the best contrabassist who graduated from Korea National University of Arts & Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music in Moscow. 80th ArtM Concert with KONTRABASS ENSEMBLE in uJung Art Center

(주)현대약품이 주최하고 (주)아트엠플러스가 주관하는 제 80회 아트엠콘서트가 서울시향 콘트라베이스 앙상블과 함께 지난 2월 유중아트센터에서 개최되었다. 2009년 5월 첫 공연을 시작으로 국내 정상급 뮤지션들과 함께 해온 아트엠콘서트는 공연 수익금 전액을 한국문화예술위원회에 기부하는 현대약품의 사회공헌활동이다. 또한 지난 3월에는 문화체육관광부가 선정하는 ‘문화예술후원우수기관’으로 선정되어 그 의미를 더 했다.

이번 80회 아트엠콘서트의 메인 게스트인 서울시향 콘트라베이스 앙상블은 명실공히 대한민국 최고의 실력을 자랑하는 5명의 콘트라베이시스트들이다. 특히 서울시향의 부수석으로 활동 중인 이영수는 한국예술종합학교 음악원과 모스크바 차이코프스키 국립음악원을 졸업한 국내 최고 콘트라베이시스트로 널리 알려져 있다. 또한 김진철, 장승호, 이충석, 강인한 등 역시 국내∙외 클래식 음악계에서 주목 받고 있는 음악가들이다. 컬쳐엠매거진이 80회 아트엠콘서트를 빛내준 서울시향 콘트라베이스 앙상블이 연주한 어빙 베를린의 ‘Alexsander’s ragtime band’ 공연 실황을 공개한다.
