Yoo Seung Woo’s 3rd single ‘BEAUTIFUL’ 소년 유승우, 남자로 탈피하다

A Korean singer, Yoo Seung Woo has released the third single ‘BEAUTIFUL’. As the beginning of twenty age, twenty is an age of believing to know everything, but failing at all. An age of transparency showing all the feelings that were meant to be hidden. An age of not knowing how to express. YU SEUNGWOO returns to sing of love, an incomplete, unstable love of the “twenties”.

Hit song maker Kim Do Hoon and lyricist Kim Eana joined hands for ‘You’re beautiful’. The song tries to express all that YU SEUNGWOO is, everything his age, 20, represents. It’s a shy, but bold love song, with words like “Like the day we began, the moment that stops everything, this must be love” and “You’re the most beautiful of all that I’ve seen with my eyes”.

유승우가 세 번째 싱글 ‘예뻐서’를 발표했다. 2012년, 일곱 소년의 감성이라고 믿기 힘들만큼 깊고 넓은 감성으로 데뷔한 유승우가 이제 막 이십 대로 접어들은 풋풋함과 성숙함이 가득한 앨범으로 돌아온 것이다.

히트 작곡가 김도훈과 작사가 김이나가 함께한 타이틀 곡 ‘예뻐서’는 갓 스무살이 된 그에게서 찾은 이미지 그대로를 표현하고자 했다. 소년과 청년의 경계를 줄타기하며 과하지 않은 성숙함을 이 인상적이다. 또한 또한 최근 기리보이, B1A4, 브라더수, 앤덥, 바스코, 써니힐, 울랄라세션 등에 참여하며 주가를 높이고 있는 무서운 신예 프로듀서 ‘구름이’가 함께 작업한 ‘그 밤 사이’도 유승우의 만개하는 감성을 오롯이 담아냈다.
