GAIN’s 1st regular album part. 1, ‘End Again’ 가인의 첫 정규 앨범, 그 첫 번째 이야기

GAIN has released the regular album part. 1, ‘End Again’. As a solo musician who already released several sensation albums, she is returned with a classical fantasy album embodies two concepts, ‘Romance’, ‘Innocence’ for this fall. Especially, a Korean producer Cho Young Chul directed the album who worked with GAIN since her debut. Also, several well-talented musicians worked for the album such as Lee Min Soo, Kin E Na, Ko Sang Ji, KZ, Taebongi, D’DAY, kiku etc.

There are 5 tracks in the album including a title track ‘Carnival’. It is a grand & fantasy style solo track with jive beats of speed tempo. Also, it is impressive that beautiful strings, wood winds, brass accompanied performances, and a composer Lee Min Soo & a writer Kim E Na made the track who worked with GAIN after she was playing as a solo musician, And, there are several style experimental tracks in the album such as Step 2/4’, ‘Talk about S’, ‘Truth or Dare’, ‘Hawwah’.

가인이 첫 정규 앨범의 첫 번째 파트, ‘End Again’을 발표했다. 발표하는 앨범 마다 파격적인 퍼포먼스와 콘셉트로 화제를 불러 모았던 그녀가 ‘낭만’과 ‘순수’를 테마로 클래식한 판타지 음악으로 돌아온 것이다. 이번 앨범은 브라운 아이드 걸스 및 가인의 솔로 앨범을 함께 해 온 조영철 프로듀서가 총괄 프로듀싱을 맡았고, 이민수, 김이나 ‘히트 메이커’들을 비롯하여 고상지, KZ, 태봉이, D’DAY, kiku 등 실력파 뮤지션이 함께해 앨범의 완성도를 높였다.

총 다섯 곡이 수록된 이번 앨범의 타이틀 곡 ‘Carnival(카니발)’은 빠른 템포의 자이브 비트를 기반으로 한 곡으로, 조영철 프로듀서 특유의 웅장하고 판타지한 음악 스타일을 담아냈다. 스트링, 목관악기, 브라스 협연 연주를 통해 화려하고 판타지한 사운드가 인상적으로 가인의 솔로 타이틀곡을 줄곧 맡아온 이민수 작곡가, 김이나 작사가가 이번에도 의기투합해 만들었다. 또한 탱고라는 실험적인 장르를 시도하여 호응을 얻은 ‘Step 2/4’, ‘Talk about S’, ‘Truth or Dare’, ‘Hawwah’까지 다양한 스타일이 곡들이 추가로 수록되었다.
