Liam Berrington is a 27 years old artist from Ireland living and working in Changwon, Korea. In fact, Drawing and photography are his two life passions, combining with his third passion of travel.

His main focus in his work is on the people he sees and what make them unique. Expressions on the faxes of young and old are his favorite. Together they create an art focused around people, culture and nature. His philosophy is all about the exploration and respect of our world. CultureM Magazine releases Liam Berrington’s valuable art pieces once a month from April 2015. And thank you, Liam.

사진과 회화로 자신만의 이야기를 그려나가고 있는 아일랜드 출신의 젊은 예술가, 리암 베링턴. 현재 그는 대한민국 창원에 거주하며 예술가로서의 제 2의 인생을 만들어가고 있다. 사실 그는 회화와 사진, 그리고 여행을 통해 전 세계 곳곳에서 만나는 다양한 사람들의 모습을 기록해 왔다.

특히 그의 주된 작업은 그가 만나는 사람들로부터 시작되는데, 무엇이 그들을 특별한 존재로 만들어주는가에 대한 질문을 통해 사람들의 표정을 포착하고 작품으로 남겨온 것이다. 사람, 문화, 자연, 이 거짓 없는 세 가지 요소는 앞으로도 리암 베링턴의 끊임없는 작업의 주제가 될 것이다. 컬쳐엠매거진이 아일랜드 출신의 젊은 작가 리암 베링턴의 아트웍을 한 달에 한 번씩 사진과 글로 공개할 예정이다.
